6mm (1/4") mobilon is a frosted light weight tape.  It is a great way to add stability to seams of knitted garments and is perfect for gathering as it does not add bulk.

Mobilon Tape

Unfortunately I have not yet had a chance to try it out. I am hoping that it will prevent bamboo lycra sagging
